This course was another important step in the organisation’s mission to promote the circular economy and support social enterprises in Romania.\n<\/div>\n\n<\/body>\n<\/html>\n\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The circular economy course was organised in the framework of the <a href=\"https:\/\/alaturidevoi.ro\/en\/proiect\/seeding-enterprising-for-tomorrow\/\">SEEDing – Enterprising for Tomorrow project<\/a>, co-funded by <a href=\"https:\/\/eeagrants.org\/\">EEA and Norway grants 2021-2027.<\/a><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">An essential course for a sustainable future<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The circular economy is more than just a fashionable trend. It is a necessity for the sustainable future of our planet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The course was delivered by experts from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dezvoltaredurabila.gov.ro\/\">Department for Sustainable Development<\/a>, the Federation of Intercommunity Development Associations for Waste Management (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.federatiaadi.ro\/\">FADI<\/a>) and Ateliere Fara Frontiere. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Experts presented international and national trends and strategies on the circular economy, the current state of their implementation and how <strong>social entrepreneurs can contribute to the practical development of the circular economy.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"956\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/alaturidevoi.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/curs-economie-circulara-1-956x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12536\" srcset=\"https:\/\/alaturidevoi.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/curs-economie-circulara-1-956x1024.jpg 956w, https:\/\/alaturidevoi.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/curs-economie-circulara-1-280x300.jpg 280w, https:\/\/alaturidevoi.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/curs-economie-circulara-1-768x823.jpg 768w, https:\/\/alaturidevoi.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/curs-economie-circulara-1-175x187.jpg 175w, https:\/\/alaturidevoi.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/curs-economie-circulara-1-1170x1254.jpg 1170w, https:\/\/alaturidevoi.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/curs-economie-circulara-1.jpg 1440w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 956px) 100vw, 956px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>During the first two days, participants benefited from an intensive theoretical session delivered by sustainability experts with over 20 years of experience. This ensured a solid grounding of knowledge about the circular economy, both at the theoretical level and at the European and international policy level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Visiting champions of the circular economy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The third day was dedicated to study visits, giving participants the opportunity to see practical applications of the circular economy. They appreciated the <strong>usefulness of the information received, the exchange of experiences with other participants<\/strong> and the <strong>examples of good practice<\/strong> observed during the study visits. <strong>The open interaction with the speakers<\/strong> was also appreciated, contributing to a deeper understanding and strengthening relationships between participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the end of the course, participants left with clear ideas and concrete plans to implement circular economy principles in their own businesses and organisations. The enthusiasm and interest shown demonstrated that <strong>there is considerable untapped potential in this area.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Testimonials from participants<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>“Attending the course was extremely enjoyable and useful. For me personally, as a social enterprise manager, this course came as a complement to the insufficient information on the circular economy, a concept that I wanted to integrate into my company’s work. It was also very interesting to have the opportunity to see in real life how the principles of the circular economy are applied in two organisations we had the opportunity to visit, which crowned the theoretical information we received.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>“I had some unclear issues about the circular economy when I started the course. The project was co-funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eeagrants.ro\/en\/about\">EEA and Norway Grants 2014-2021.<\/a> The main objective was to increase the competitiveness of at least 100 social enterprises in Romania with a focus on ICT and green industry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>The course <strong>“Circular Economy: from theory to application”<\/strong> was a key activity of the SEEDing project, with high added value for social enterprises and the impact ecosystem in Romania. From 6 to 8 November 2023, Ateliere Fara Frontiere <\/a>organised a training for social entrepreneurs and social innovation organisations from Romania – “The Circular Economy: from theory to application”. The course took place in Bucharest and included a study visit to the circular economy workshops of Viitor Plus and Ateliere Senza Frontiere. A total of 20 people – employees and founders of social enterprises from all over the country – participated during the 3 days. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n Custom HTML Text<\/title>\n <style>\n .custom-text {\n background-color: lightgrey;\n border-left: 5px solid yellow;\n padding: 10px;\n font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\n }\n .custom-text a {\n color: blue;\n text-decoration: none;\n }\n .custom-text b {\n font-weight: bold;\n }\n <\/style>\n<\/head>\n<body>\n\n<div class=\"custom-text\">\n For over 15 years, <a href=\"https:\/\/atelierefarafrontiere.ro\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ateliere Fara Frontiere<\/a> has been reintegrating adults from disadvantaged backgrounds into the labour market by employing them in its workshops developed around the circular economy: <b>educlick<\/b>, <b>remesh<\/b>, <b>bio&co<\/b> and <b>logietic<\/b>. This course was another important step in the organisation’s mission to promote the circular economy and support social enterprises in Romania.\n<\/div>\n\n<\/body>\n<\/html>\n\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The circular economy course was organised in the framework of the <a href=\"https:\/\/alaturidevoi.ro\/en\/proiect\/seeding-enterprising-for-tomorrow\/\">SEEDing – Enterprising for Tomorrow project<\/a>, co-funded by <a href=\"https:\/\/eeagrants.org\/\">EEA and Norway grants 2021-2027.<\/a><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">An essential course for a sustainable future<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The circular economy is more than just a fashionable trend. It is a necessity for the sustainable future of our planet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The course was delivered by experts from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dezvoltaredurabila.gov.ro\/\">Department for Sustainable Development<\/a>, the Federation of Intercommunity Development Associations for Waste Management (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.federatiaadi.ro\/\">FADI<\/a>) and Ateliere Fara Frontiere. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Experts presented international and national trends and strategies on the circular economy, the current state of their implementation and how <strong>social entrepreneurs can contribute to the practical development of the circular economy.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"956\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/alaturidevoi.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/curs-economie-circulara-1-956x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12536\" srcset=\"https:\/\/alaturidevoi.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/curs-economie-circulara-1-956x1024.jpg 956w, https:\/\/alaturidevoi.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/curs-economie-circulara-1-280x300.jpg 280w, https:\/\/alaturidevoi.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/curs-economie-circulara-1-768x823.jpg 768w, https:\/\/alaturidevoi.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/curs-economie-circulara-1-175x187.jpg 175w, https:\/\/alaturidevoi.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/curs-economie-circulara-1-1170x1254.jpg 1170w, https:\/\/alaturidevoi.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/curs-economie-circulara-1.jpg 1440w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 956px) 100vw, 956px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>During the first two days, participants benefited from an intensive theoretical session delivered by sustainability experts with over 20 years of experience. This ensured a solid grounding of knowledge about the circular economy, both at the theoretical level and at the European and international policy level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Visiting champions of the circular economy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The third day was dedicated to study visits, giving participants the opportunity to see practical applications of the circular economy. They appreciated the <strong>usefulness of the information received, the exchange of experiences with other participants<\/strong> and the <strong>examples of good practice<\/strong> observed during the study visits. <strong>The open interaction with the speakers<\/strong> was also appreciated, contributing to a deeper understanding and strengthening relationships between participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the end of the course, participants left with clear ideas and concrete plans to implement circular economy principles in their own businesses and organisations. The project was co-funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eeagrants.ro\/en\/about\">EEA and Norway Grants 2014-2021.<\/a> The main objective was to increase the competitiveness of at least 100 social enterprises in Romania with a focus on ICT and green industry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>The course <strong>“Circular Economy: from theory to application”<\/strong> was a key activity of the SEEDing project, with high added value for social enterprises and the impact ecosystem in Romania.
