The ceremony took place in the Senate Hall of \u201cAlexandru Ioan Cuza\u201d University of Ia\u0219i and highlighted organizations and individuals who contribute to the common good through their work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The award presented to Angela Achi\u021bei, president of the ADV Romania Group, is an official recognition of the vital role the social economy plays in Iasi county\u2019s development \u2014 by creating jobs for vulnerable people, providing essential community services, driving social innovation, and encouraging responsible entrepreneurship..<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201c<em>We are a group of six interconnected social enterprises, and we have managed to grow from social services into social entrepreneurship because our vision has always been to build fishing rods for our beneficiaries and teach them how to fish. I believe we\u2019ve succeeded, at least in part\u2014though still too little, considering how great the needs are in our community<\/em>,\u201d said <strong>Angela Achi\u021bei<\/strong> during the award ceremony.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>We thank the <strong>Prefect\u2019s Institution of Ia\u0219i County<\/strong>, Prefect <strong>Luciana Antoci<\/strong>, and the entire team for their trust, collaboration, and constant support for the social economy sector.
