MADALINA SAUCIUC – MANAGER UTILDECO / PRODUCTION

With over 15 years of experience in the social economy sector, Mădălina joined the ADV Romania team in 2008, driven by a strong desire to contribute to a more equitable society and to support people in vulnerable situations.
Since then, she has dedicated her work to advancing the organisation's mission and engaging in initiatives with real impact in the community, especially in the areas of inclusion, education and anti-discrimination.
She has been part of the implementation teams for numerous European projects and has coordinated educational addressing both professionals – representatives of public authorities, healthcare workers, police officers, journalists, teachers – and the foundation’s direct beneficiaries: people with disabilities, individuals deprived of liberty, youth from rural areas, and other vulnerable groups. Her areas of expertise include health education, peer education, and human rights training.
Since 2015, she has been coordinating the operations of UtilDeco, a social insertion enterprise and one of the largest social economy structures in Romania. Here, she actively contributes to developing a sustainable model of professional inclusion for people with disabilities. She currently occupies the position of Co-Manager UtilDeco and remains committed to building an inclusive working environment where every person has the opportunity to reach their full potential and contribute to an economy based on solidarity.
“UtilDeco’s mission – to create jobs for people with disabilities – gave me the confidence to move forward with courage and optimism and to believe that good things are built step by step. In a world where change begins with each of us, I strongly believe that the best investment we can make as individuals and organisations is to support initiatives that create positive social impact. Every purchase made from a social enterprise is a meaningful step toward a fairer and more sustainable future, where everyone, regardless of their abilities, has the chance to contribute and to thrive.”
