DIANA VASILIU - EUROPEAN PROJECTS MANAGER

Diana's ADV journey started in the summer of 2012, when she joined the ADV Romania team with the willingness to actively contribute to the ADV organization’s mission, promoting the social inclusion of people with disabilities and people from vulnerable groups.

Throughout her professional trajectory, she has been committed to and responsible for implementing social and educational projects, managing European projects, and overseeing human resources management. She has also developed training programs with social impact and written and elaborated projects utilising diverse financial sources.

Managing research programs in the fields of social economy, psychosocial, educational, and psycho-medical research has always been an opportunity for Diana, presenting both a great challenge and a professional growth option.

Her enthusiasm for the field of adult vocational training, developed during more than 25 years as a trainer, during which time she organized and held vocational training, specialization and further training courses for managers, entrepreneurs, specialists from different companies, providing mentoring and consultancy for the socio-professional integration of people from disadvantaged categories, for various companies in the North-East Region, shaped her personal and professional profile.

Diana has a bachelor's degree in social work and a master's degree in psychosocial intervention and psychotherapy, as well as postgraduate programs in social economy organised by the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iasi. Driven by a commitment to lifelong learning and development, she has supplemented her education with relevant professional qualifications, including project management, training, evaluation of training providers and programs, and human resources inspection. During her professional career, she has been actively involved in designing training curricula at the European level on social entrepreneurship and social innovation, developing practical guides in the fields of social services for children and families, equality of opportunities, and sustainable development, as well as motivating employees. She is also an author and co-author of 8 publications in the psychosocial and human resources area.

 All these experiences have inspired her determination to pursue her mission of working with love, for people, trusting that in every human being, we can see both beauty and value.
