Elena joined ADV Romania Foundation in 2011, actively contributing to the organization’s mission of promoting social inclusion for people with disabilities and vulnerable groups.

Since 2013, she has coordinated the financial and technical aspects of projects totaling over €20 million in funding from the European Commission, national authorities, UNICEF, Norway Grants, and other international donors. Her work supports the development of the social economy, the establishment of social enterprises, and the creation of employment opportunities for marginalized communities.

Elena has also played a key role in international projects implemented in the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine, where 4 social innovation labs were established and 6 youth-led social enterprises, as well as the development of a national strategy for social entrepreneurship in both countries.

In Romania, Elena contributed to launching a Digital Innovation Hub in Iasi, dedicated to social economy organizations and NGOs working with people with disabilities. The hub is part of a European network, together with other 4 innovation hubs developed simultaneously in the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, and Romania.
