The project aims to establish minimum of 21 social enterprises in urban areas within the North-East region of Romania (counties: Iași, Vaslui, Botoșani, Suceava, Neamț, and Bacău). This initiative serves as a sustainable solution to reduce social disparities, combat poverty, and create inclusive employment opportunities for individuals from disadvantaged groups.

OBJECTIVES

• Raising awareness among at least 25,000 people in the North-East Region about the opportunities for developing social enterprises in urban areas. The campaign will include dedicated websites, social media outreach, webinars, press releases, and participation in media programs.

• Training 135 individuals in the field of social economy through certified courses in Social Economy Entrepreneurship, Social Enterprise Management, and Civic Skills & Fundraising. The programs will include business plan competitions and implementation support.

• Establishing 21 social enterprises, each creating at least 7 jobs, through non-reimbursable funding of up to €100,000 per enterprise and individualized support for business plan implementation.

• Ensuring the operation, development, and sustainability of the 21 newly established social enterprises for at least 27 months from the start of their activity.
