About the project:
The DIGIT-ABLE project, funded under the SMP-COSME-2023-SEED call, aims to promote digital inclusion by enhancing the digital skills and capacity of Social Enterprises: WISEs and service providers, with a specific focus on those providing services to people with disabilities on the groundwork laid by previous initiatives, such as the B-WISE Erasmus+ Blueprint project, DIGIT-ABLE seeks to address the barriers these enterprises face in adopting advanced digital tools and technologies.  

Project objectives:

 Mapping digital needs and opportunities across several EU member states, including Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, and Romania, through research and stakeholder engagement activities.  

Developing and implementing a comprehensive digital skills training programme tailored to the unique needs of these enterprises and their beneficiaries.  

• Establishing Digital Innovation and Acceleration Hubs to foster collaboration between social enterprises and tech companies, facilitating the integration of cutting-edge technologies and nurturing digital social innovation.

Call for proposals: Local training sessions

ADV Romania is launching a national call to build capacities of Social Enterprises, such as Working Integration Enterprises (WISEs), Service Providers and Enabling Organisations in Romania, with special focus on those providing services to persons with disabilities.

The training sessions will help participants understand and use digital technologies to improve their work and services.

Financial support is available to cover travel costs for eligible organisations located more than 20 km from the training venue.

2026 Training Sessions

A hands-on training that equips participants with the skills to create clear and effective digital work instructions. The programme is built around practical tools, real-life examples, and principles from Industry 4.0 and human-centred design. Participants will learn how to transform static documents into interactive and visual guides that improve efficiency and reduce errors.

23 January 2026 (in person) and 30 January 2026 (online)

Duration: 4 + 4 hours

Location: ADV Romania headquarters, Iași and Zoom

A training designed to support teams in creating inclusive digital content in line with international accessibility standards. Participants will learn how to structure emails, documents, websites, and social media posts so they can be used by everyone, including people with disabilities. The programme includes real-world examples and practical tools for writing accessible content.

13 March 2026 (in person) and 20 March 2026 (online)

Duration: 4 + 4 hours

Location: ADV Romania headquarters, Iași and Zoom

An applied training focused on developing skills for transforming raw data into meaningful information. Through practical exercises and case studies, participants will learn how to analyse data, identify trends, and make informed decisions. The training uses accessible tools and does not require prior technical knowledge, with a strong emphasis on data ethics, confidentiality, and awareness of bias risks

Call for proposals: Transnational activities in Romania

Within the framework of the DIGIT-ABLE project, ADV Romania invites social enterprises, service providers, and social economy enabling organisations to apply for participation in the Transnational Study Visit and Peer-learning Seminar, organised in Iași, Romania, in May 2026.

This transnational event brings together organisations from across Europe to exchange knowledge, explore practical approaches to digitalisation, and strengthen collaboration between the social economy and the technology sector.

What to expect

European Conference “Enterprising for Tomorrow” – 4th edition
Participants will take part in a major European conference dedicated to the future of the social economy. The event addresses key topics such as digital transformation, skills development, financing social enterprises, impact measurement, and European policy trends.
Within the conference, a dedicated DIGIT-ABLE transnational peer-learning seminar will focus on digitalisation and human resources development in social economy organisations, encouraging exchange of experiences, lessons learned, and practical solutions.

Transnational Study Visit and Peer Learning Activities
On the following day, participants will join a study visit to social enterprises within the ADV Romania Group and to the Digital Innovation Zone, part of the regional digital innovation ecosystem. The visit offers hands-on insights into how digital tools and innovation processes are applied in practice, as well as opportunities to engage with social enterprise practitioners, tech experts, and innovation stakeholders.

Who can apply

This call is open to organisations established outside Romania.


Only eligible social enterprises, service providers, and social economy enabling organisations based in other EU Member States or countries participating in the EU Single Market Programme may apply.

Financial support

Selected organisations may receive financial support in the form of a lump-sum contribution to cover travel, accommodation, and subsistence costs related to participation in the transnational activities.
