PROJECT PRESENTATION

The project “Accelerator of Social Enterprises” is implemented by the “Alaturi de Voi” Romania Foundation in partnership with Structural Consulting Group, being co-financed from the European Social Fund through the Human Capital Operational Programme 2014-2020. The project is implemented during 26.07.2019 – 25.07.2022 at national level, except for the Bucharest - Ilfov Region, which has not been eligible for this financing axis. The total value of the financing agreement is 13.761.980,00 lei, of which 11.680.856,52 lei represent the non-reimbursable eligible value from the EU and 2.061.327,63 lei represent the non-reimbursable eligible value from the national budget. The partner Structural Consulting Group will ensure a co-financing of 19.795,85 lei for their own expenses on the project.  

PROJECT GOAL

To establish at least 21 social enterprises in 7 development regions of Romania, as a sustainable solution to lower social disparities, combat poverty and create inclusive workplaces for people from groups at risk

OBJECTIVES

• To inform at least 10.000 people from 7 regions of Romania on the opportunity to develop social economy entities in their communities and to develop products and services to contribute to lowering social disparities and to creating inclusive workplaces.
• To increase professional abilities in the field of social economy for at least 105 people from 7 regions of Romania in view of establishing and developing social enterprises.
• To develop at least 21 social enterprises in 7 development regions of Romania, both in rural and in urban areas, during the period of project implementation and in the sustainability period.
• To create a network of support and development of social economy and to connect them to other communities and relevant actors in the country or in other EU-member states.
