Great news for our WISE members!

Starting July 2018, we reauthorized WISE under a new status: instead of a travel agency, we are now authorized as a tour operator. This upgrade comes naturally given the results obtained in the past two years by our team, in both our efforts to fulfil the needs of our customers, but also our work to reduce poverty in local communities.

Most of the travellers prefer a tour operator instead of an agency, due to an increased trust and safety provided for their purchases, as well as the increased skill and experience of the staff.

In the past 16 years, our team was awarded over 45 national and international awards,  including the prestigious “Social Entrepreneur of the Year” in the worldwide competition organized by Ernst & Young.  

To us, it’s always “Day One” as we treat each sunrise with the same excitement and passion towards our mission – to take part in fulfilling the Global Goals set for 2030 by the United Nations, bringing support to local communities and creating unique experiences to our travellers.

This change places WISE in the top 10% of the industry, adding a series of improvements from a legislative point of view:

With a new insurance policy on reimbursement of repatriation expenses and/or the amounts paid in the unlikely event of insolvency or bankruptcy of WISE.travel, the sum insured grew 5 times.

We have no restrictions on selling and mixing absolutely any travel service through any provider, and we can build our own packages having deals directly with hotels and extended ways to fulfil the needs of our business clients.

By booking a hotel room, or buying a museum ticket or anything on WISE, you’re also supporting local do-good charities working to be environmentally, culturally, and economically sustainable.
