ADV Romania announces the expansion of the Map of Social Enterprises, a key component of the “SEEDing – Enterprising for Tomorrow” initiative, co-funded by EEA and Norway Grants. This strategic development within the SEEDing project marks a significant step towards mapping the social enterprise ecosystem across Europe and fostering bilateral cooperation.
Expanding the Social Enterprise Map
Initially focused on project grantees, the SocialTech4EU project has broadened its scope to include a diverse range of social enterprises. The Map of Social Enterprises now features impactful organizations from Norway, each bringing unique solutions to societal challenges. This registry serves as a dynamic platform for showcasing social enterprises, facilitating collaborations, and promoting sustainable economic activities.
Spotlight on Norwegian Social Innovators
Among the new additions, several Norwegian social enterprises stand out for their unique contributions:
- KLAR Kompetanse offers multilingual vocational training resources, making education and work more accessible for individuals with minority language backgrounds.
- Gammel Nok specializes in staffing, focusing on providing opportunities for qualified personnel over the age of 50.
- Forskerfabrikken Norge AS spreads joy and understanding of science through educational courses and games, having reached over half a million children nationwide.
- Lifetools introduces “KnowMe,” a digital tool that enhances communication and information sharing among caregivers and educational institutions.
- ByAuk operates as a cooperative farm, promoting local food production and fostering community interactions across generations.
These examples illustrate the diversity and innovative spirit of the social enterprises now featured on the map.
Call for Participation
Registration for the Map of Social Enterprises remains open, inviting all social enterprises throughout Europe to join this expanding network. By registering, enterprises not only gain visibility but also access to a network that fosters collaboration and supports responsible procurement practices.
A Sustained Commitment to Growth and Collaboration
The integration of these enterprises is just the beginning of an ongoing effort to enhance the utility and reach of the Map of Social Enterprises. ADV Romania is dedicated to continuously expanding this tool beyond the completion of the SEEDing project and SocialTech4EU project, ensuring it remains a vital resource for collaboration within the European social enterprise sector.
