About the project

The “SEEDing - Enterprising for Tomorrow” project will increase the competitiveness of a minimum of 100 Romanian social enterprises within Green Industry Innovation and ICT focus areas.

Specific objectives:

1. Capacity building in the circular economy, ICT and social finance for at least 500 people working in social enterprises or organizations that develop the social economy sector in Romania.
2. Reinforcing responsible partnerships between social economy entities, the business environment, public authorities and universities in the “Accelerator of Social Enterprises" cluster.
3. Ensuring the know-how transfer in the field of circular economy from Norwegian social enterprises to the Romanian social economy sector.
4. Mapping the social economy sector and the needs of social enterprises in Romania concerning the transposition of the European Action Plan for the Development of the Social Economy approved in December 2021 by the European Commission.

Outputs:

• 90 start-ups (social enterprises) will receive business skills support (training, coaching, mentoring etc.)
• 5 webinars (business models, eco-innovation, circular economy, internationalization, corporate social responsibility (CSR)
• 3 training programs (circular economy; social finance and corporate social responsibility; ICT)
• One business matchmaking event (circular economy and ICT)
• 2 study visits (1 visit in Norway and 1 visit in Romania)
• One research report
