About the project:
The DIGIT-ABLE project, funded under the SMP-COSME-2023-SEED call, aims to promote digital inclusion by enhancing the digital skills and capacity of Social Enterprises: WISEs and service providers, with a specific focus on those providing services to people with disabilities on the groundwork laid by previous initiatives, such as the B-WISE Erasmus+ Blueprint project, DIGIT-ABLE seeks to address the barriers these enterprises face in adopting advanced digital tools and technologies.
Project objectives:
• Mapping digital needs and opportunities across several EU member states, including Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, and Romania, through research and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Developing and implementing a comprehensive digital skills training programme tailored to the unique needs of these enterprises and their beneficiaries.
• Establishing Digital Innovation and Acceleration Hubs to foster collaboration between social enterprises and tech companies, facilitating the integration of cutting-edge technologies and nurturing digital social innovation.
