The largest support and capacity building programme in Europe for social enterprises – SocialTech4EU – launches the Call for social enterprises seeking to strengthen their capacity to innovate and to accelerate digital transformation. Selected social enterprises will receive 3.000 EUR for trainings on areas such as ICT, open innovation, business administration and marketing.

Social enterprises are invited to apply for the training support. The call is open to social enterprises and for-profit/start ups with a social mission- or impact. Selected social enterprises will receive 3.000 EUR (lumpsum) to get training on areas such as ICT, open innovation, business administration and marketing.
The selected social enterprises will be able to select from a Registry of Social Economy Stakeholders and Providers – consisting of national, European and international training providers, higher education institutions, research organisations, tech providers, incubators and accelerators.
This call is the first step of the innovation pathway of SocialTech4EU. Selected organizations will be able to possibly start their innovation journey, make use of training opportunities but also scale up and accelerate their innovation efforts. Future financial support will follow in 2023 and 2024 and social enterprises will be able to apply and compete for additional financial support:
- Innovation: up to €20.000 for each selected organisation (up to 20 social enterprises).
- Acceleration: up to €35.000 for each selected organisation (up to 10 social enterprises).

The SocialTech for Europe for Resilient and Responsible Ecosystems, SocialTech4EU, is a two-year project that kicked off in September 2022 and is co-funded by the EU, more specifically the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) through the Joint Cluster Initiatives (EUROCLUSTERS) for Europe’s recovery (SMP-COSME-2021-CLUSTER).
This project is one of the 14 Industrial Ecosystems – linked to the EU industrial Strategy and is part of the Proximity and Social Economy Industrial Ecosystem. In September 2022, 30 Euroclusters have been launched to implement the EU Industrial Strategy.
